Our Story
Sodemart is an innovative online marketplace where users can buy, sell, and trade new and used items, as well as hire on-demand home services. Founded by U. Daniel Ejekwu, Sodemart was born in 2020, at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic when economies around the world shut down and access to essential products and services became scarce. This crisis highlighted the urgent need for a platform that could provide a seamless and reliable solution for obtaining goods and home services quickly and efficiently.
As a subsidiary of Dantech LLC and Dantech Global Limited, Sodemart was designed to meet the growing demand for a streamlined shopping experience combined with easy access to on-demand services. But it was also created with a broader mission in mind—empowering individuals and small businesses by providing them with the digital presence they need to thrive in the modern economy. We know that many entrepreneurs lack the resources or technical skills to build their own websites or apps to showcase their products or services to a global audience.
